Rockford Urological is partnering with a national prostate cancer organization, ZERO, to host a Prostate Cancer Run/Walk in Rockford on Saturday, September 30, 2023, at 9:00 AM. Tracy Cameron, ZERO’s Upper Midwest Chapter Director, spoke with WTVO to share more about the FREE race, how to sign-up, and the organization's dedication to prostate cancer education and support.
The family-friendly event is open to patients, survivors, caregivers, family, friends and those honoring loved ones and supporting prostate cancer awareness in the Rockford region. Participants can register for the 5K Run/Walk or the 1 Mile Walk at https://support.zerocancer.org/site/TR/RunWalk/RunWalk23?pg=entry&fr_id=3020. If participants would like to join the run/walk virtually, they can do so by downloading the RunGo App.
The event will include a Survivor & Caregiver Ceremony, kid activities, including a special Kids Superhero Dash for Dad, food and drinks will also be available.
